Role Overview:

We are seeking Patient Care Technicians to join our team of dedicated professionals! As a member of a Magnetdesignated Nursing team you will provide support to inpatient nursing staff while ensuring comfort and safety for patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

• Work under the supervision of a Clinical Nurse and assist patients in a timely and efficient manner.
• Handle situations with integrity and compassion.
• Perform tasks such as taking vital signs conducting EKGs and collecting specimens.
• Collaborate with the clinical team and provide assistance with procedures when needed.
• Use basic computer and data entry skills.

Key Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of healthcarerelated experience in a discipline such as NA PCT EMT Med Tech Phlebotomist or LPN.
• If less than 2 years of experience a Nursing Assistant or other healthcarerelated certification within the past year and one year of healthcarerelated experience (NA PCT EMT Med Tech Phlebotomist or LPN) is required.
• BLS certification required by the time of hire.
• Epic EMR experience is a plus.
