This position is posted Vet Tech levels 1, 2 and 3. Level and pay are commensurate with experience. Level is determined by qualifications based on type of prior experience:
To qualify for Level 1: Entry level, new CVT grad or awaiting to sit for the CVT exam, or some CVT working experience with no specialization. To qualify for Level 2: Generally over 2 years of veterinary tech experience, may substitute years of experience for specialization. To qualify for Level 3: Veterinary Tech Specialist (VTS), or highly qualified and specialized in a specific area, may have prior experience from another university hospital. Requires the ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. independently and physical and manual dexterity to perform specialized technical tasks. Preferred
CVT - Certified Veterinary Technician or eligible to obtain Wisconsin licensure within 12 months
Monday-Friday, 9:00AM-5:30PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. Time may vary based on candidate and unit needs.
Flexibility to cover various shifts as needed. Some holidays and weekends may be required, based on needs of the unit. On-call hours as required by the hospital.Full or Part Time: 75% - 100%
It is anticipated this position requires work be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location.Ongoing/Renewable
Minimum $18.36 HOURLY

Sign-on Bonus of 5% of base pay (based on FTE) to be paid over the first year of employment (Minimum of $1,800+ for Veterinary Technicians)!
