This role will plan, manage, coordinate, and successfully complete assigned projects. These projects typically involve multiple work scopes, higher complexity, and increased customer collaboration. The goal is to deliver a quality service on time and meet customer requirements. The person also applies Project Management techniques as defined by the Customer Service management organization, demonstrates leadership, and significantly contributes to team performance while maintaining a focus on customer success.
Job Description - Serves as the single point of contact for the customer after the sale as assigned.
- Builds and maintains relationship with customer and other suppliers associated with the project.
- Provides the project overview and implements the system interface within the scope of the project.
- Coordinates with senior manager to establish a realistic project schedule and monitors compliance with the defined project objectives and project management processes to ensure the timely completion of project milestones and final delivery.
- Develops Project Milestone Schedule with schedule compression strategy.
- Serves as the single point of contact with management for the Project and coordinates communication between the various functional areas and other TechnipFMC product areas involved in the project.
- Ensures that the project status and progress is effectively communicated to the TechnipFMC Project Team and to the customer.
- Develops and communicates the project budget.
- Approves all project related expenditures as authorized and manages costs to meet budget commitments.
- Ensures that adequate resources are applied to the project.
- Leads Stage Gate Process and ensures processes are implemented in all phases of project execution.
- Identifies and manages strategic risks, interfacing with the Gate Readiness Review Committee (GRRC) and the Decision Review Board (DRB).
- Develops integrated project team charter and lead team building, alignment, and communication processes.
You are meant for this job if: - Bachelor's degree in related field or applicable discipline, or equivalent relevant experience. At least eight years' of related experience.
- Good understanding of the application of Project Management techniques and standards.
- Working knowledge of engineering, procurement, manufacturing and testing processes.
- Understanding of commercial terms and conditions and the risks/opportunities of each as applicable to contract management and business execution.
- Ability to implement product/project execution plans as required by relevant policy and procedures.
- Apply solutions derived from knowledge gained through past experiences and internal resources.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and interact with external customers and management.
- Good understanding of maintenance philosophies, offshore logistics, subsea products and business management planning tools.
Additional Skills - Proficient in relevant MS Office applications. Understanding of the purpose and value of scheduling and ERP software.
- Demonstrate abilities in leadership and team building with the ability to motivate a diverse group of people to successfully complete team objectives.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, internal and external negotiation, and planning skills.
- Demonstrate understanding of methods of cost control, risk management, project scheduling and contract management.
Work Environment & Physical Demands Spends 75% of time in a temperature-controlled environment (office, airport, airplane). Spends 25% of time in a field environment or in a subcontractors shop and may be exposed to possible hazards.
