Are you an experienced Special Education Teacher with a passion for leadership? We're seeking a dedicated professional to join our team and play a pivotal role in our online school. In this position, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact by providing specialized instruction to students with unique needs and leading our virtual special education program.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and implement personalized online Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with diverse needs.
Deliver engaging and supportive instruction through video conferencing to ensure students' success.
Collaborate with general education teachers to adapt accommodations and modifications for students.
Oversee virtual assessments and track progress to ensure each student is meeting their educational goals.
Ensure compliance with special education laws and regulations, maintaining high standards.
Lead IEP meetings and maintain regular communication with parents to keep them informed and involved.
Mentor and support fellow special education staff, fostering a collaborative virtual environment.
Requirements:

Master's degree in Special Education.
Valid teaching license with a special education endorsement.
At least 5 years of experience in special education, with some experience in a leadership role.
Deep understanding of special education laws and best practices.
Proficiency with online learning platforms and assistive technologies.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a dynamic virtual setting.
