About the Role

Ndustrial is hiring a skilled Senior Software Engineer who will be part of a scrum team that is designing and building the backend, frontend, and API for our Nsight Energy Intensity Platform. The team includes a tech lead, developers, UI/UX, and QA. You will be a major contributor to the team’s patterns of planning, designing, coding, reviewing, testing, and continuously deploying. You will collaborate with other team members from Product, DevOps, Services, and Support to ensure that the product you are building is high quality and creates value for our customers.

• Design and innovate features within our current technology stack while also creating new functionalities to enhance value for our customers.
• Participate in the planning, design, coding, reviewing, and continuous testing and deployment processes to uphold high-quality standards.
• Align technical goals with the company’s objectives and metrics to ensure a shared understanding across teams.
• Work alongside product owners and UX designers to evaluate technical feasibility and convert user requirements into comprehensive specifications.
• Act as a technical authority during product planning discussions.
• Identify and address the root causes of production issues and lead troubleshooting and resolution efforts across various teams.

• Cloud Native & Knative
• CI/CD using GitOps
• REST/GraphQL
• React & TypeScript
• TimescaleDB (PostgreSQL)
• Stream processing and integrations (Kotlin / Pulsar)

Requirements

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related experience
• 5-8+ years of professional software development experience in relevant technologies
• NodeJs (Typescript a plus)
• Strong Backend Experience (Java, Kotlin a plus)
• Some Frontend Experience (Javascript, React a plus)
• SQL (Postgres a plus)
• API Design/REST Experience (GraphQL a plus)
• API Security (Oauth 2.0 a plus)
• A collaborative team player with a passion for building high-quality, customer-centric solutions
