Job Description

Job Title: Aerospace Planner Location: Rockford, IL 61125 (onsite) Area Code: 815, 779 Pay Rate: $28.00-34.00/hour Employment Type: Full time/Direct with full benefits Shift: 1st #supplychain #procurement #aerospacejobs Key Responsibilities:

Review and analyze material forecasts; apply insights to planning software to ensure accurate demand visibility
Create and manage procurement orders to support production schedules and forecasted demand
Monitor ERP systems and planning tools to maintain target service levels and inventory balance
Communicate proactively with suppliers and internal customers to meet both current and forward-looking material needs
Support issue resolution through tiered accountability structures and drive continuous improvement initiatives

Core Qualifications:

1+ years of experience in material planning, supply chain, or procurement (aerospace/manufacturing preferred)
Understanding of material planning parameters, demand planning, and supply chain lead times
Experience planning materials from both internal and external suppliers, while maintaining cost, quality, and schedule targets
Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, production, and quality teams
Strong communication skills and ability to operate in structured, fast-moving environments
Due to the nature of the work, U.S. Citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate or Bachelor"s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering
Proficiency in SAP ERP system
Familiarity with engineering change processes and impact on supply chain
Knowledge of Master Production Scheduling (MPS) or related planning methodologies

Salary guidelines for similar roles at Belcan are $28.00-34.00 per hour.
