About the Role:

We’re looking for a creative and motivated Motion Designer to join our Design team. This is an exciting opportunity to work cross-functionally with our Product, Engineering, and Creative teams to help develop AI Edit styles that will shape how millions of videos are edited. You’ll gain hands-on experience working on a variety of motion design projects, from social media content to in-app animations, and have the chance to learn from a highly collaborative team.

Our ideal candidate has a foundation in 2D and 3D motion design, with a strong interest in visual storytelling and an eagerness to learn and grow. You’re excited to contribute to all stages of the creative process and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create Motion Graphics: Assist in designing high-quality motion graphics, titles, and animations for various projects across digital platforms and social media.

  • Collaborate on Video Editing Styles: Work alongside technical teams to help create motion design systems, styles, and templates for AI-powered video editing.

  • Collaborate with Design: Work with product designers and visual designers to create motion and animation features that elevate the user experience.

  • Contribute to Product Launches: Assist in the development of motion design assets for upcoming product releases, ensuring a seamless and engaging visual experience.

  • Update and Maintain Designs: Help refresh and update existing graphics and templates to stay aligned with industry trends.

Requirements:

  • 0-4 years of experience in motion design or interaction design, with a portfolio showcasing your work.

  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Figma.

  • Some experience or coursework in 2D and 3D motion design; familiarity with tools like Lottie, Rive, Cinema 4D, or Blender is a plus.

  • Understanding of design principles, including composition, typography, and layout.

  • Willingness to collaborate with product and engineering teams.

  • Strong desire to learn and improve motion design skills in a fast-paced, creative environment.

  • Effective communication skills and the ability to take direction and feedback.

Compensation

$95K – $130K • Offers Equity

The successful candidate's starting compensation will be determined based on their skills, experience, qualifications, and market conditions. Please know that this pay range may be modified in the future.
