Private family of 4 on the Upper East Side of Manhattan is looking for a Monday – Friday Nanny/Light Housekeeper to live-in or live-out. You would along-side of mom and tag team with the kids. Mom stay at home with the kids and dad works full -time outside of the home.
There are 2 children ages 3 years & 8 years. Mom would mostly care for the older one while the Nanny cares for the younger one. Both kids are in school most of the day. The nanny would start at 7:30AM and help mom get the kids ready for school. Then there would be several hours of downtime when housekeeping and laundry would need to be done. (Those responsibilities include keeping kids room tidy, making beds, taking out trash/recycling, folding laundry, organize toys, help get rid of small clothes, light food prep, receiving deliveries.) The nanny would pick up one child from school and bring them to an after school activity or playdate. Then you would bathe them and play with them until family dinner time at 6:30PM. They are looking for a full time nanny with flexibility to be live in when needed. The family lives on the UES but spends summers in the Hamptons where you would live-in on work days. Having a driver’s license is a must. A valid passport to travel internationally is preferred but not a deal breaker. The family would prefer a French speaker to speak to the children in French…this is not a deal breaker but just an big plus!
What Works Best for Family: Mom is looking for someone that has full time availability and flexibility. The job is not intense since the kids are in school or summer camp full-time.
