Embark on a transformative learning experience as an Accounting Intern with Clicklease, working closely under the guidance of a seasoned Financial Controller. This dynamic opportunity is tailored for active junior or senior college students pursuing a degree in finance or accounting, offering a flexible 20-30 hours per week schedule based in our West Valley City office. Dive into a range of responsibilities, from daily cash reconciliation to actively participating in accounting support functions for various departments. REQUIREMENTS FOR INTERNSHIP ELIGIBILITY

• One or more of the following:

• Ability to work Monday - Friday for up to 29 hours a week

• A desire to join Clicklease's accounting team full-time once internship is completed

• Ability to work during the school year

• Ability to start working right away

• Ability to commit to 6 month internship project

Schedule:   Part-Time, Monday - Friday (20-29 hours a week)
Compensation: $18-$22 hourly DOE
Modality: On Site
FLSA Exemption Status: Non-Exempt (hourly)

What you'll be doing:

• Daily cash / check deposits entry and reconciliation

• Process Check Requests

• Filing and File Management

• Data Entry and Data Clean-up Projects

• Assist in Lease Termination Process

• Petty Cash management

• Actively Participate in Accounting support function for other Internal Departments

• Distribute and open mail

• Ad-hoc Office Management and other Accounting/Finance Projects

• Identify process improvements opportunities in all projects undertaken

What you have: 

• Finance and/or Accounting Career Aspirations

• Affinity to learning new Software and a desire to utilize the software to its fullest

• Self-starting attitude -- you want to work hard and contribute every day to a thriving organization

• Skilled use of Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, OneDrive, Teams etc..)

• Basic understanding of accounting principles, general ledger and account reconciling processes

What will make you stand out:

• 2+ years completed in an accounting or finance program at an accredited 4 year university

• Experience in leasing or finance industry

• Experience using the following Software:
