Position Description
The Vice President of Advancement reports to the President and is responsible for all Revenue
Generating activities necessary to meet the growing mission of The Pocket Testament League.
The Vice President is responsible for first, developing and executing a clearly defined revenue
strategy. Second, growing the current team to increase the revenue from $4M per year, to $25M over the next 5-8 years.

The Pocket Testament League is a global movement of Christ followers who are inviting millions to meet Jesus using a simple repeatable method that works for anyone. Since its inception in 1894 to 2018, over 130 million people had been invited to meet Jesus using Gospels of John. Today, across more than 200 countries, our 100% remote team of 17 full-time equivalents had a goal to invite 130 million people to meet Jesus between 2019 - 2028. Five years into this goal, we realize it is too small.
Today we are thinking biggermuch bigger. We advance our mission through an energetic, collaborative culture that holds fast to Gods Word and is committed to excellence and innovation until all are invited to meet Jesus. In 2023, 14 million people were invited; by 2026 we forecast 30 million.

The Pocket Testament League has an established Philosophy of Stewardship that articulates how we go about engaging donors in support of The League Mission. It is built upon respect for these supporters and with a goal of developing long-term relationships. The philosophy includes the
principle of Stewardship Representatives being able to ask for a gift to sustain and advance the mission of the Pocket Testament League.
