13-Week Contract

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Travel Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) for an exciting 13-week contract. This is a night-shift position for an experienced nurse who is ready to provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns at a leading healthcare facility in a dynamic location.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients throughout the labor, delivery, and postpartum phases.
• Monitor and assess the condition of both mother and fetus, recognizing and responding to changes as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Assist physicians during delivery and other medical procedures.
• Educate new parents on infant care, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery.
• Document all patient care, assessments, and interventions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Handle high-stress situations and emergency procedures with professionalism and skill.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in [State Name, or "a compact state"].
• Minimum of [e.g., 2] years of recent experience in a Labor & Delivery unit.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program).
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively on a night-shift schedule.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
