Position: Senior Property Claims Representative

Location: Remote (Fargo, ND, North River, ND, Moorhead, MN, and surrounding areas)

Are you passionate about making a real difference in people's lives? We're looking for a dedicated Senior Property Claims Representative to join our field claims team. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work in the field and from home, providing exceptional service to clients by investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and settling property claims.

What You'll Do:

- Investigate Claims: Assess applicable policy coverage, evaluate damages, and negotiate settlements.
- Client Interaction: Contact insureds, claimants, and relevant parties to gather information, explain the claims process, and, if needed, obtain recorded statements.
- Inspection and Evaluation: Conduct physical and virtual inspections of damaged properties, prepare written estimates, and ensure adherence to policy provisions and liability.

What We're Looking For:

- Experience: At least 7 years of relevant experience in property claims or a combination of related experience, education, and training.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (or similar), Xactimate, and/or other claims estimating software.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of residential and commercial construction techniques.
- Licensing: Valid adjuster's licensing as required by the states within the assigned territory.
- Multilingual: Preferred but not required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to handle physical tasks such as walking, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds, often in varying weather conditions.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work beyond normal business hours as needed and be available for catastrophic duty if required.
- Transportation: Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for travel to and from appointments.
