Responsibilities:

Design, customize, develop, and implement software solutions to meet and exceed clients' requirements.

Leverage the power of Microsoft SharePoint Online cloud-based environment to create modern, scalable, and user-friendly applications, workflows, and collaborative tools tailored to client needs.

Use HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, .NET, C#, XHTML, XML, or XSL to maintain client's public site and SharePoint site.

Build eye-catching user interfaces that not only support the organization's strategies and goals but also captivate and inspire their users with SharePoint Online components using the SharePoint Framework.

Utilize all the basic tools that Microsoft 365 offers and make recommendations for tools to improve the environment (i.e. Power Apps, MS Forms, Power Bi, Dataverse).

Follow System Development Life Cycle (SLDC) methodology and Microsoft best practices to support application, web, and database development.

Develop easy to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and provide updates quarterly or as tasked.

Be able to capture user requirements and develop solutions per those requirements

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with other Front-End Developers.

Skills/Qualifications/Education Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree (or higher-level degree) from an accredited University in the field of Information Technology, Information Systems, Information Management, Computer Science, Software Development, Software Engineering, or Cybersecurity or equivalent experience required.

• CompTIA Security+ CE required.

• Microsoft 365 Developer Associate desired. ITIL Foundation certification desired.

Experience:

• Six (6) years of related Web/SharePoint development experience.

• Minimum of three (3) years job-related experience as a Site Owner

• 1 year as a Site Collection Administrator (SCA) of SharePoint Online (or SharePoint 2019/2016)

• Minimum of two (2) years job related experience utilizing SharePoint content management, including comprehension and permissions model, and training users in computer-based skills.

Skills needed:

• Experience and expert knowledge of client-side development and customization (e.g. site creation, solution development, creating lists, libraries, and workflows).

• Experience and expert knowledge of using tools (e.g. MS Forms, Power Automate, Power Apps etc.) and programming languages (e.g. HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, .NET, C#, XML, XSL, etc.) for development.

• Experience in software development includes software system development, design, and testing, programming, software maintenance, configuration management, and documentation.

• Knowledge of SDLC Management, system analysis, structured programming, version control, quality assurance, methodologies, software testing, documentation, and end user support.

The incumbent of this position will be subject to a background investigation and will be required to maintain a Government granted security clearance.
