Job Description AECOM is seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Project Manager for our Dallas, TX office to join our expanding Water Group. This role will include client management with municipal contracts, previous experience with: water and/or waste water treatment facilities, sanitary sewer stations, booster pump stations, and transmission or distribution mains are highly preferred.
Responsibilities of this position include, but not limited to, the following: - Technical oversight of design staff and team members for projects associated with municipal water / wastewater / drainage infrastructure improvements.
- Providing specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
- Participating in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
- Developing construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.
- Performing quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
- Preparing technical specification sections.
- Providing input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.
- Providing guidance and mentoring to entry and mid-level engineers.
- Municipal water quality studies, disinfection, water supply sustainability, water systems design (water treatment plants, pump stations, etc.), energy evaluations
- Safe Drinking Water Program audits
- Audits of water treatment plants
- Water main replacement analysis, water vulnerability and emergency response
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: - BA/BS + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred Qualifications: - Texas P.E. license
- 10+ years of water/wastewater industry experience
- 5+ years of project management experience
