Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Project Manager for our Dallas, TX office to join our expanding Water Group. This role will include client management with municipal contracts, previous experience with: water and/or waste water treatment facilities, sanitary sewer stations, booster pump stations, and transmission or distribution mains are highly preferred.

Responsibilities of this position include, but not limited to, the following:
  • Technical oversight of design staff and team members for projects associated with municipal water / wastewater / drainage infrastructure improvements.
  • Providing specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
  • Participating in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
  • Developing construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.
  • Performing quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
  • Preparing technical specification sections.
  • Providing input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.
  • Providing guidance and mentoring to entry and mid-level engineers.
  • Municipal water quality studies, disinfection, water supply sustainability, water systems design (water treatment plants, pump stations, etc.), energy evaluations
  • Safe Drinking Water Program audits
  • Audits of water treatment plants
  • Water main replacement analysis, water vulnerability and emergency response
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
  • BA/BS + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Texas P.E. license
  • 10+ years of water/wastewater industry experience
  • 5+ years of project management experience
