Level: Senior Engineer or Project Manager
A leading, multidisciplinary civil engineering consultancy is expanding its Site Civil / Land Development practice in the NYC-NJ metro area and is seeking Senior Engineers and Project Managers to support a strong and growing pipeline of work.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals who want to work on high-profile urban development projects , take ownership of client relationships, and play a visible role in shaping projects and teams in one of the most active development markets in the country.
Leading site civil and land development projects from concept through construction
Managing design teams and coordinating with architects, planners, and regulatory agencies
Overseeing grading, drainage, stormwater management, utilities, and permitting
Serving as a client-facing technical lead and trusted advisor
Supporting proposal development, project planning, and staff mentorship
PE license in New York and/or New Jersey (required)
5+ years of experience in site civil / land development
Strong background in urban commercial, residential, mixed-use, and infrastructure projects
Proficiency with Civil 3D and modern design workflows
Ability to manage projects, clients, and internal teams with confidence
Work on complex, high-visibility projects across Manhattan and the Hudson waterfront
Strong backlog and long-term stability
Clear path for advancement into senior leadership
Collaborative, technically strong environment with real decision-making authority
