Senior Demand Planner

Position Overview
The Senior Demand Planner is responsible for developing and executing demand planning strategies to optimize inventory levels and ensure product availability. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to forecast demand accurately and align supply chain processes with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using statistical methods and market analysis
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance to gather input for demand planning
• Monitor inventory levels and manage inventory turns to optimize stock levels
• Utilize tools like Power BI and Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Support the S&OP process by providing insights and recommendations based on demand trends
• Analyze product lifecycle stages and adjust forecasts accordingly
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in demand planning and inventory management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in demand planning or supply chain management
• Proficiency in demand planning software (e.g., Logility, IBP) and ERP systems
• Strong analytical skills with experience in financial analysis and data analysis
• Expertise in Excel and Power BI for data visualization and reporting
• Knowledge of APICS standards and best practices in inventory management
• Experience with forecasting techniques and inventory planning methodologies
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
