About the Role

Our direct client is embarking on a key systems conversion project, w e are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support this critical initiative by documenting business requirements, conducting gap analyses, and working closely with the Project Manager stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition.

This role is ideal for a self-starter who can learn quickly, work independently, and effectively translate business needs into technical requirements. Experience in the aviation industry is a plus but not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand current business processes and identify gaps between current and future systems.
• Document detailed business requirements and workflows to support the migration.
• Conduct gap analysis between legacy and new management system platforms.
• Collaborate with the project manager and development team to ensure accurate requirement translation.
• Facilitate discussions, provide insights, and push back when necessary to ensure the project stays on track.
• Support testing, validation, and change management activities.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in technology-driven projects.
• Experience in agile methodology environments
• Experience in software migrations, system integrations, or process reengineering .
• Ability to quickly learn new systems and business processes.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience collaborating remotely across teams.
• Excellent documentation skills (BRD, user stories, workflows, gap analysis).
• Aviation industry experience is a plus but not required.

Work Arrangement & Timeline

• Location: Shelton, CT (on-site required, with some hybrid work and remote collaboration).
• Start Date: March 2024 (subject to budget approval).
