Rate: $76.67/hr - $98/hr
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled PKI Certified Specialist for a 6-month contract position based in the Phoenix area. This role involves evaluating and optimizing the current Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) certification processes, ensuring the appropriate features and tools are in place, and addressing system issues related to certification updates and monitoring. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of PKI, strong problem-solving skills, and experience in resolving system shutdowns and WiFi disruptions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and analyze current PKI processes.
• Assess and clarify the certification process to ensure the right features and tools are in place for certificate creation and monitoring.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues causing system shutdowns and WiFi access disruptions.
• Provide expert recommendations for process improvements and best practices.
• Collaborate with internal teams to implement solutions effectively.
Requirements
Qualifications:
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) with PKI certification (vendor-neutral preferred).
• Proven experience in PKI implementation and documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
Technical Skills:
• Extensive knowledge of PKI concepts and implementation.
• Experience with SSL/TLS certificates and their lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with network security protocols and standards.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting PKI-related issues.
• Understanding of WiFi security integration with PKI.
• Knowledge of cryptographic algorithms and their applications in PKI.
• Experience with automation tools and scripting for PKI management.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional ready to tackle critical security optimization challenges. Local candidates who can accommodate occasional onsite work are highly preferred.
