About the Role:

As a Scrum Master, you will be a servant leader for one or more agile development teams, guiding them in their journey to become high-performing and self-organizing. You will champion the Agile principles and practices, fostering a collaborative and transparent environment. You will be responsible for removing impediments, facilitating communication, and coaching the team to continuously improve their processes. This role requires a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence without authority.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective).
  • Coach and mentor the team on Agile principles, practices, and values.
  • Remove impediments that block the team's progress.
  • Foster a collaborative and self-organizing team environment.
  • Help the team to define and achieve their sprint goals.
  • Track and report on team progress and metrics.
  • Work with the Product Owner to refine and prioritize the product backlog.
  • Ensure that the team adheres to the agreed-upon Definition of Done.
  • Continuously improve the team's processes and practices.
  • Collaborate with other Scrum Masters to share best practices and improve the overall Agile maturity of the organization.
  • Champion the Agile mindset and culture within the organization.
  • Proactively identify and address potential risks and issues.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between the team and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification required.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, preferably in a regulated industry (e.g., medical device, pharmaceutical).
  • Deep understanding of Agile principles and practices (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to coach and mentor team members.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to influence without authority.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Experience with scaling Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe) is a plus.
  • Experience in the medical device domain is a plus.
