Job Description - Lead EAM tracks and projects, overseeing the entire project lifecycle, ensuring high quality delivery according to client expectations, but also timely and within budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft, design and implement effective SAP EAM solutions that align with business objectives and best practices, based on SAP’s on-premise and cloud portfolio of solutions.
- Support the client’s team to configure and customize EAM to meet specific organizational and data governance requirements, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes in or out of SAP.
- Engages in full life cycle stages of project execution in the EAM area delivering all phases of SAP EAM implementation including master data management (MDM) and into support.
- Interacts with clients on a routine basis to gather requirements and develop a full understanding of various business scenarios and map the appropriate SAP EAM Solutions.
- Identifies and assists in the development of new services and capabilities to address client’s business needs in SAP EAM segment.
- Adopt new and innovative business solutions within established and emerging technical architectures (e.g., SAP-HANA, and mobility).
- Closely work with other teams, communicate on daily basis with offshore team members and take ownership of the deliverables.
- Develop and maintain detailed functional specifications, technical specifications, and testing plans.
- Conduct fit-gap analysis to identify areas where SAP EAM can be leveraged to improve business processes.
- Configure and customize SAP EAM modules, including Plant Maintenance, Quality Management, and Inventory Management.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules and external systems.
- Provide training and support to end-users to ensure successful adoption of SAP EAM solutions.
- Stay up to date with SAP EAM roadmap, new features, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to continuously improve solutions.
Requirements
- SAP EAM Functional Lead with experience in Utilities industry, possess a strong business understanding of the utility industry and business processes, with deep expertise in Enterprise Asset Management.
- Require deep knowledge of utility business processes; excellent communication skills, minimum 10 years of experience in SAP Plant Maintenance, Asset Management, Customer Service, and integration with other EAM applications required with proven track record of successful SAP ERP/EAM implementations.
- Experience in broad SAP functional applications, with emphasis on EAM components, and has proven track record of delivering team results. Ultimately responsible for the integrated design, implementation, and delivery of the architected solution, created by working with the EAM, FI, MM/SRM teams to design and deliver full EAM solution.
- Experience with overseeing and approving the end-to-end process design, configuration, testing, and ultimate conversions of the SAP functions included within EAM and all points of integration across the solution landscape.
- Lead oversight of the integrated system design enabling Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) processes across an SAP landscape for Utilities Industry.
