Currently, we are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a rewarding position in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at a renowned healthcare facility in Hollywood, FL.

Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team. In this role, you will provide critical care to newborns in need of specialized treatment, such as premature infants, or those born with respiratory or cardiac conditions. You will be part of a collaborative healthcare team that ensures the best possible outcomes for these vulnerable patients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate and high-quality care to neonates in the NICU, including assessments, monitoring, and specialized treatments.
• Administer medications, IVs, and nutritional support based on physicians' orders.
• Monitor and assess the health status of neonatal patients, including vital signs and other clinical indicators.
• Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide family support and education, including updates on the condition and care of their newborns.
• Respond to changes in patient conditions promptly and effectively, escalating to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Document all patient care activities, including treatments, assessments, and responses, in compliance with hospital policies.
• Ensure a safe, sterile, and organized environment for both patients and families, following infection control and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required.
• At least 1 year of experience in the NICU or pediatric nursing is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of neonatal care, including specialized treatments for premature and critically ill newborns.
• Ability to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm and compassionate demeanor.
• Exceptional critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team and provide family-centered care.
