Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Med/Surg department. This is a fulltime position with 3x 12hour shifts per week providing care to patients in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
Assess and monitor patients condition and vital signs
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Educate patients and their families on disease processes medications and selfcare techniques
Document patient care and progress in electronic medical records
Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families
Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures as well as state and federal regulations
Qualifications:
Current and valid RN license in the state of Texas
Minimum of 1 year of experience in Med/Surg nursing
BLS certification
Strong clinical skills and ability to handle complex patient situations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Basic computer skills and experience with electronic medical records
