Salary: $65,000/yr
POSITION OBJECTIVE: Under the direction of the Senior Director of Licensing, the supervisor is responsible for supervision and monitoring of the work of the foster parent recruitment and training team. The supervisor will ensure the successful coordination and implementation of recruitment and training strategies and goals that best represent the mission, vision, and values of Family Partnerships of Central Florida and the need for quality fostering for the children and families we serve.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Monitor and supervise recruitment and training staff including tasks specific to the goals outlined in the yearly recruitment plan. Strategize, analyze and plan community Q & A and information sessions that will help yield results of quality families partnering and signing up for foster parent pre-service classes.
- Participate in or facilitate informational meetings, orientation, and in-service training.
- Attend community outreach events.
- Participate in or facilitate licensing curriculum pre-service training when needed.
- Input all statistics and data gathered on families into the designated Family Partnerships of Central Florida data system as required.
- Coordinate the foster parent training schedule in coordination with the Executive Director of Licensing and Licensing Supervisor.
- Coordinate a variety of in-service trainings for foster parents that will help support them in navigating the system and caring for the children in their homes.
- Partner with community engagement on recruitment strategies and activities.
- Participate as a member of the Licensing Leadership Team in creating and carrying out strategies for continuous improvement.
- Generate monthly data reports on recruitment efforts, call completions, class registration and other data points as assigned.
- Attend program and agency meetings as scheduled and as needed.
- Participates in the agency strategic plan & quality improvement processes as needed
- Ability to safely & successfully perform essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, & other federal, state, & local standards, including meeting qualitative & quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with ADA , FMLA & other federal, state, & local standards

QUALIFICATIONS: REQUIRED: - Bachelors degree in Human Services field/Public Relations/Marketing
- Minimum 3 years in child placing licensing supervision with emphasis on understanding the recruitment, training and licensing of foster parents.
- Knowledge of agency Foster Parent Training Curricula
- Supervisory Experience
- Florida Child Welfare Certification

SPECIAL CONDITIONS: - Thorough Background Screening upon hire including FBI, FDLE, Local Law check, Employment Reference check, DMV check, Criminal Records check, Social Security Trace & Drug Screening. FDLE check will be run at least every 5 years.

- Attend at least 15 hours of in-service training annually
- Travel- local: 30% per week, long-distance: 1 % per month
