Diablo/Freud Tools is looking for an energetic and creative intern to assist our print design team in driving the commercialization of our world-class brands. You are currently at a college or university pursuing a degree in graphic design or a related degree and are interested in gaining real-world experience with an industry-leading organization. You are comfortable using a PC. Previous knowledge of construction products and/or power tools is not required.

Job Description



As a graphic design intern, you will work with other print designers to assist in producing world-class communications to promote our industry leading brands. You are interested in taking your graphic design skills and applying them to off-line/print projects. An obsession with quality, accuracy and the ability to solve business challenges with creativity while keeping the audience in mind is your motivation and driving-force to be the best. Primary duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist print design team in producing high quality graphics for advertising, packaging, print, literature, presentations, branding, POS, and events.
  • Assist in development and updating of style guides and accompanying Adobe cloud libraries
  • Support in execution of sales and marketing events.
  • Support with the coordination of third party print vendors to ensure marketing materials are printed correctly and delivered on time.

This full-time internship (40-hours/week) will be based onsite out of our Atlanta office from June 2-July 31, 2025. This role is not remote.

Qualifications

  • Current university student in good standing (min. 3.0 GPA); pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in graphic design or related field of study.
  • Able and willing to work on-site.
  • Ability to work with Adobe Cloud design programs using a PC.
  • 2-3 years working experience with Adobe InDesign and Illustrator, specifically creating mock-ups, packaging and literature/POP.
  • General understanding of marketing, print production, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design.
  • Excellent communication & written skills.
  • Ability to manage time, multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented to produce accurate and high-quality work.
