Job Description

Preschool Teacher Assistant for infants to 0ne-three years old. 

 

Qualifications:

• Pass a Level II background screening.
• Must work the same hours Mon. thru Fri.
• Training is required but can start without it completed (45 hours of state-mandated training done within one year).
• Have a completed physical or a negative TB test completed upon starting (every 2 years).
• CPR and 1st aid certification completed within 90 days of employment and keep up to date.
• Be able to lift at least 40 pounds.
• Stay positive.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Work the same schedule hours every day (Monday-Friday) and be reliable.
• Be able to move around the majority of the day.
• Perform all activities with children such as jumping, dancing, walking, and running.
• Respond quickly and appropriately to children's needs.
• Be able to sit on the floor with the children with the agility to change position quickly.
• Be flexible and willing to work as a team.
