Description We are inviting applications for the position of Plant Controller in North Little Rock, Arkansas. This role involves strategic financial and operational management of the business, influencing business decisions, and overseeing various accounting functions. Responsibilities - Oversee and manage the daily accounting operations and team - Ensure timely completion of Month End Close and meet reporting requirements - Assist the President and other leaders in making informed business decisions - Participate in M& A activities and integrations - Supervise the Capex spend for the organization and assist in the capex process including submissions and approvals - Conduct financial modeling and drive forecasting on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis - Collaborate with business leaders to prepare annual budget and present it to senior leadership - Enhance the costing process of the operations, including Cost Estimating, BOMs, Inventory Controls, and pricing review and management - Implement, enforce, and monitor financial controls in operations in compliance with SOX - Utilize financial data, production data, and other information to influence decisions and control costs in our business operations - Collaborate with peers to standardize finance and accounting processes across the organization.
