We are currently seeking a Pega Senior Developer to join our team in Irving , Texas (US-TX) , United States (US) .

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Day to Day job Duties: (what this person will do on a daily/weekly basis)   

• Developing and maintaining applications: Create and maintain applications built on the Pega platform. 

• Design and development of overall applications including re-usable classes and frameworks, component design, UI design providing scalable and resilient solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements 

• Collaborate with internal teams and interact with customers to find solutions for projects and operational issues. 

• Monitoring performance: Monitor the performance of applications and make changes as needed. 

• Leverage knowledge on Pega server configuration and Oracle Database query optimization.  

Basic Qualifications: (what are the skills required for this job with minimum years of experience on each) 

• 5+ years of hands-on Senior Pega Developer responsible for design and development of overall application including re-usable classes and frameworks, component design, UI design providing scalable and resilient solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements.
• Overall 5+ years of experience
  Pega/Redhat/Splunk/AppD/WEBSPHERE/shell scripting/ bash scripting
  Experience in L3 support is plus  

• Experience in Designing and Implementing PEGA Enterprise Class Rules, Flows, Activities, Repots, Correspondence, Case Management and Integrations, Data Pages, Agents, UI design, Dashboards, Reports, Troubleshooting and debugging. 

• Experience in automating testing, package deployment and verification and application monitoring. 

• Experience in Pega server configuration and Oracle database query optimization for performance testing execution, troubleshooting, and fixing issues identified in load volume test.  

• Demonstrated knowledge of Agile scrum, Pega code reviews, guardrail compliance and UI design system best practices including Pega Cosmos 

Degree: Bachelors in Computer Science 

Nice to Have; (But not a must) 

• Banking Domain Knowledge
