The City of Pueblo is seeking qualified candidates to become our next Community Engagement Manager for the Pueblo Police Department. In this leadership role, you’ll oversee the flow of information between the department, the City, and the community. As the Community Engagement Manager, you’ll lead a team to drive engagement, promote transparency, and support the Chief’s vision across the entire department. You’ll develop communication strategies, guide media relations, manage public affairs efforts, and handle high-profile or sensitive issues with professionalism and confidence. You’ll also create high-quality content, coordinate media interviews, identify story opportunities, build relationships with reporters and digital media outlets, and prepare briefings, presentations, and reports for leadership.
