PART-TIME PARALEGAL / LEGAL ASSISTANT NEEDED!

ABOUT THE ROLE

HR Consulting Solutions is proud to represent a growing legal firm in Paducah, KY, in their search for a talented and experienced Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join their dynamic team. As a Paralegal/Legal Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting attorneys by managing case files, conducting legal research, drafting documents, and ensuring smooth communication with clients. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your skills and expertise will be valued and rewarded.

WORK LOCATION

• Paducah, KY

WORK SCHEDULE

• This is a part-time position with flexibility in scheduling.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare, draft, and organize legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and correspondence.
• Conduct thorough legal research and compile findings to support casework.
• Assist attorneys with case preparation, filings, and client communications.
• Manage deadlines and maintain case schedules with accuracy.
• Handle confidential information with the utmost professionalism.
• Cover front desk when needed, including answering and directing phone calls and meeting clients in a professional and friendly manner.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant, or similar role in a legal setting.
• Paralegal certification preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of legal terminology, practices, and procedures.
• Proficiency in legal research and document management software.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
