Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain your own truck in a safe and efficient manner.
• Transport goods to specified destinations within agreed timelines.
• Manage the daily operations of your trucking business including route planning and paperwork.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members regarding shipment details.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to transportation and logistics.
• Perform regular inspections and maintenance on your vehicle to prevent breakdowns and ensure safety.
• Manage expenses related to fuel, maintenance, and insurance to maximize profitability.

Requirements

• Must own a qualified truck that meets company and regulatory standards.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as an owner operator in the trucking industry.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state trucking regulations.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
