Job Type: Contract to Hire

Compensation: $22/hour - Compensation will be based on the candidate’s skills and experience. No other forms of compensation such as bonuses or commissions are offered for this position. Newbold offers health care benefits and other benefits in accordance with applicable Federal or State law.

General Job Description: Our client is looking for two Mortgage Post Closer Specialists to review and perfect residential mortgage loan files for sale on the Secondary Market. This role requires accuracy, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Requirements

• Analyze, remediate, and document defects in post-closing loan files
• Retrieve, validate, and audit final documents for compliance with state, county, and investor guidelines
• Collaborate with agencies and partners to confirm proper recording and lien standing
• Ensure FHA, VA, and Rural Housing loans meet all investor and agency requirements
• Qualifications: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, strong verbal communication skills, highly detail-oriented, organized, and experienced with mortgage or title documentation (custodial or mortgage operations experience a plus)
