Job Description

Job Purpose:

To drive revenue through proactive management and resolution of outstanding medical claims, ensuring adherence to company protocols and client specifications.

Responsibilities:

Conduct follow-up activities with insurance providers to secure prompt and accurate payment
Research and submit corrected claims and appeals when necessary
Communicate with insurance companies to resolve payment discrepancies
Process and document adjustments, including write-offs and chargebacks across multiple platforms
Provide clients with necessary information to facilitate collection processes
Analyze insurance reimbursement receipts to verify accuracy
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements
Requirements:

Previous experience in medical billing is essential
Proficiency in medical billing terminology and processes
Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required
Detail-oriented and well-organized approach
Ability to analyze information effectively
Excellent documentation and time management skills
Commitment to delivering quality results
Basic mathematical proficiency
