Job Title: Logistics Manager

Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Logistics Manager to join our client to lead large-scale fleet, warehouse, and emergency operations that keep essential services running smoothly. This onsite, direct-hire role in Deerfield Beach, FL focuses on optimizing asset utilization, strengthening operational readiness, and ensuring seamless coordination across multiple logistics functions. The ideal candidate will bring seasoned leadership, strong planning capabilities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and service. This is an opportunity to drive efficiency and reliability across a fast-moving logistics environment.

Compensation:
$75,000 – $90,000 annually

Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday, normal business hours

Key Responsibilities of the Logistics Manager:

• Oversee fleet performance from acquisition through end-of-life, ensuring vehicles and equipment remain compliant, well-maintained, and operational.
• Guide daily warehouse activities across multiple locations, ensuring accurate inventory control, timely order fulfillment, and streamlined distribution.
• Implement asset tracking practices to maximize equipment uptime, monitor utilization trends, and coordinate repairs or replacements.
• Support emergency management functions by maintaining operational readiness, assisting with emergency response planning, and ensuring emergency operations can be activated without delay.
• Develop and refine procedures that reinforce preparedness, enhance safety, and strengthen organizational resilience during critical events.

Qualifications and Skills for the Logistics Manager:

• A background in logistics, supply chain, or a related field, supported by relevant education or equivalent experience.
• At least 10 years of progressive leadership experience overseeing large-scale logistics or warehouse operations.
• Working knowledge of emergency management concepts, disaster response planning, and EOC operations.
• Strong leadership qualities, including the ability to motivate teams, manage competing deadlines, and adapt to evolving priorities.
• Proficiency with warehouse systems, office software, equipment operations, and asset management tools.
• Ability to operate material-handling equipment, including forklifts, and maintain accuracy in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills with the ability to remain composed during high-pressure situations.
