Country Cutz Grooming and Boarding LLC is a growing business in Craigsville, VA. We started our business in 2013 and expanded it to begin boarding in 2016. We continue to grow and seek an experienced groomer to join the team.  New clients call every day, and there are plenty of recurring appointments. We are professional and agile, and our goal is to have happy customers and employees. We all work as a team, working hard and playing hard.

**Pet Groomer**

Pay: $51,418.00 - $56,997.00 per year

Overview:

Join our team as a Pet Groomer and embark on a rewarding career working with animals. As a Pet Groomer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and appearance of our clients' beloved pets.

Duties:

• Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling pets according to breed standards or pet owner preferences
• Handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately during grooming sessions
• Provide basic grooming services such as nail trimming, ear cleaning, and anal gland expression
• Maintain a clean and organized grooming area to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for pets
• Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming requirements and preferences
• Monitor pets for any signs of health issues or abnormalities and report findings to the appropriate staff

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of previous Pet Grooming Experience
• Knowledge of various grooming techniques for different breeds of dogs and/or cats
• Strong understanding of animal behavior and body language
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with pet owners
• Certification in grooming or willingness to obtain certification
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
