Job Title: Inventory Control Manager | Salary: $60-$70K | Shift: TBD
Job Purpose : Maintaining accurate levels of controlled inventory utilizing problem solving skills, along with analytical skills, keeping inventory integrity, supervision of leads and associates to sustain these goals within the company facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations in Inventory Control for all shifts
- Ensure that safety rules, production, and sanitation standards are met.
- Cycle Count Program
- Pick location creation (new items) or re-profiling
- Run Inventory reports, (PICK HITS, LOST IN CYCLE COUNT, EXPIRATION MANAGEMENT, ADJUSTMENTS, etc.)
- Responsible for the process of all TO s (transfer orders) RTV s (return to vendor) Dispositions (dump and destroy).
- Trouble shoot and problem solving to Root Cause
- PO discrepancy research or any analytical research
- Forklift Operations
- QA (quality assurance) and spot checking for code dates
- Reporting all employees errors and completing incident reports
- Inventory Integrity
- Assist the Control Center
- Attends daily production meetings.
- Assist and maintain high quality of service by enforcing company policies and procedures.
- Monitor warehouse inventories with special emphasis on minimizing TOS (temporary out of stock) and shortages.
- Assigns duties to employees and schedules break periods, work hours, and vacations. Schedules and performs periodic evaluations of employees as dictated by the appropriate HR policies.
- Assist other warehouse floor supervisors and associates in warehouse policies, departmental procedures, and job duties.
- Follow up on customer concerns/complaints, examines discrepancy reports, and resolutions to restore and promote good public relations with the client.
- Promotes a positive work environment while also being a team builder.
- Work closely with staff to ensure that quality and productivity requirements are maintained and communicated to each associate.
- Must be flexible and able to work any shift in support of business needs.
- All other duties required by Distribution Center and Operations Manager
Minimum Requirements:
- High level of computer and WMS system literacy.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to be a self-initiator who can implement and supervise inventory based programs as directed by the Inventory Control GM.
- Some college level training is preferred but not necessary so long as there is experience in warehouse supervision and some experience in the wholesale industry preferred.
Education and/or Experience:
- Some college level management education and/or 2 years warehouse supervising in wholesale industry Computer Skills:
- Strong computer skills required; with knowledge in MS Office, Excel and MS system literacy
Reasoning Ability:
- Must be able to interact with all levels of management and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to manage and lead a diverse workforce

- Days company closed: Christmas and New Years, Thanksgiving they work or work 1/2 day
- During their go-live period (projects) employees can work 10 hours a day
- Vacation Time Blackout period during busy season Company has blackout dates where no one can take vacation October-February
- The schedule usually 1st shift but must have open availability
