Your New Role:

As an Installation Plumber at JL Parker Plumbing, you'll be at the forefront of assembling, installing, and repairing plumbing systems in a commercial setting. Here's what you can expect:

• Study specifications, building plans, and shop drawings to determine the tools and equipment required and the appropriate sequence of installation.
• Install and repair plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, bathtubs, urinals, water heaters, water softeners, and more.
• Locate and mark positions for pipes, pipe connections, and passage holes in walls and floors.
• Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and fittings.
• Install sleeves and leave-outs for roof and wall penetrations.
• Dig, backfill, and tamp ditches using shovels, picks, and tampers.
• Cut, ream, and solder copper tubing/piping, and join pipes using various methods and materials.
• Assemble and install valves, pipes, and fittings composed of metals and non-metals.
• Fill pipe systems with water or air to determine system leaks.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and follow prescribed safety regulations.

• You’re authorized to work in the U.S. and are trained to operate machinery like scissor lifts, aerial lifts, and forklifts.

• Valid/current Journeyman Plumber’s License is required.
• Trained and qualified to operate machinery such as scissor lifts, aerial lifts, forklifts, etc.
• Requires proficiency through job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience. May act as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience. Completes work with a limited degree of supervision and regularly provides guidance to others.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
