Job Description

As the HR and Recruiting Coordinator with this boutique litigation law firm, you will oversee all aspects of attorney and staff recruiting and hiring. You will play a significant role in the full-cycle recruiting process, new hire orientation, and professional development.  This team is looking for someone with a passion for detail, customer service, and a few years of solid experience in human resources in a law firm. If you have a knack for multi-tasking while possessing exceptional organizational skills, then this is the job for you!

 

About the Job:

  • Provide administrative and organizational support to the Recruiting and HR team.
  • Coordinate interview schedules with candidates and internal contacts for virtual and in-person interviews.
  • Coordinate onboarding process, annual reviews, and continuing legal education programs.
  • Oversee logistics of meeting arrangements, room set-ups, and other crucial details.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with search firms and industry organizations.
  • Execute hiring strategies in collaboration with firm goals.
  • Maintain an accurate database, maintaining discretion. Run reports and collect data to evaluate firm growth and development.
  • Liaise with different departments to ensure the accurate and timely transfer of data or records.
  • Edit and update employee records including salary changes, address changes, name changes, etc.
  • Assist the HR Department with tasks that address and support efficient business practices.

About You:

  • Practiced and efficient. You are degreed with at least two years of HR or recruiting experience in a law firm is required.
  • Energetic. You are a self-starter who is engaged in your work with a passion for providing excellent customer service.
  • Responsive. You pride yourself on responding to inquiries right away with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Discrete. You can be trusted with highly confidential information.
  • People-oriented. You like earning people’s respect and trust by being the go-to person for your team.
