Retail Sales Associate for Home Decor Boutique | Part-time

Blend Indoor Outdoor - Located in the Historic Shoppes of Avondale 

If you enjoy decorating vignettes, offering styling advice to clients, have a knack for retail sales and want to love where you work alongside a close-knit team of talented designers- then this position would be a perfect fit for you!

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with expert interior designers, consult 1 on 1 with clients and delight customers with your service. You will spend most of your time designing and decorating around the shop to reflect the classic Blend style while also contributing new ideas with your own personal design approach!

In the role of Retail Sales Associate, you will have the opportunity to:

What you can expect from a day in the life of a Retail Sales Associate at Blend Indoor Outdoor: 

• Arrive at 9am and open the shop. 
• You'll start by making sure everything in the shop looks beautiful and brainstorm fresh ideas for vignettes, products to sell, or styles for our latest Instagram reel. 
• Throughout the day, you'll carefully package and fulfill orders from our online stores, taking extra care to include a handwritten thank you note to our amazing customers.
• You'll chat about all things design and home decor with our wonderful customers and enjoy interacting with the team over at Anita's.
• Plus the occasional dusting & tidying, ordering, unpacking orders and office admin tasks will keep you busy during your 2-3 days of work per week.

Requirements:

• Retail sales skills or related experience 
• Experience with POS systems, inventory management, and online sales channels like Shopify & Etsy
• Detail oriented, dependable, diligent
• Able to lift the occasional heavy object

The shop is open 9-5 Monday through Friday and 9-4 on Saturday. We are currently hiring for Wednesdays and alternating Friday/Saturdays, though hours can be flexible ranging around 14 to 22 hours per week.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay : From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14 – 22 per week
