Job Description

We are currently looking for an A Level Heavy Equipment Mechanic  to repair and maintain our fleet of Heavy Equipment in Taylor County Georgia

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair heavy equipment
• Reads and interprets Vehicle Condition Reports and repair orders
• Communicates with supervisor and equipment operators for clarification of maintenance needs
• Completes paperwork associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounts for applied times
• Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA and organizational standards
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Experience, Education, Certification:

• Must have the Equivalent of (1) high school diploma or G.E.D. certification
• Must have 4 years of related equipment maintenance and repair; OR (2) 6 years of related equipment maintenance and repair specifically yellow iron
• Valid driver license.

Physical Requirements:

• Handle tools, equipment, fine motor skills
• Reach with hands and arms
• Climb and walk on heights often greater than 4 feet
• Occasionally must be able to lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
