Firmware Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Firmware Engineer to join our team, focusing on the development and optimization of firmware for downhole and rotary steerable systems. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing our drilling technologies and ensuring the reliability and performance of our systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test firmware for downhole systems and rotary steerable systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications.
• Debug and troubleshoot firmware issues to improve system performance and reliability.
• Implement and maintain documentation for firmware development processes and protocols.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve firmware solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is preferred
• Proven experience in firmware development, particularly for downhole and rotary steerable systems.
• Strong knowledge of embedded systems and C/C++ programming.
• Experience with MWD, LWD, and drilling technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
