Family Practice OR Internal Medicine Physician Pleasanton, CA
We are looking for a physician to join our medical group part time, to provide direct patient care at our state-of-the-art medical office in Pleasanton, CA. This position offers minimal time commitment, working 1 day per week with opportunities to increase to full time in the future. The Physician will be performing orthopedic focused exams, administering joint injections, and performing BMAC procedures in an out-patient setting for our clinic. Great work/life balance with no call, nights, or holidays. The right candidate will be seeing patients, reviewing patient charts/X-Rays/MRIs to determine the best possible course of action and treatment for their pain.

The NP/PA's examine patients and perform joint and trigger point injections in our physical medicine office. We provide concierge medicine; the patients are seeking high quality care not covered by insurance and we strive to make them comfortable and educated about the procedures so that they are satisfied in undergoing the treatments offered.
Duties:
-Direct patient care (history and physical exams focused on joint injuries) Review patient records as needed
-Interpret/read x-rays and MRI
-Treatment plan formulation and recommend options for patients
-Communicate information about diagnosis and treatment protocols to patients and set clear treatment goals and expectations.
-Answer patient's questions and concerns
-Supervise the medical staff
-Perform injections/procedures- joint injections (knee, shoulder, lower back, toes, fingers, elbow, etc.) and BMAC procedure (iliac crest).
Requirements:
-BCBE in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Pain Management, Family medicine, Internal Medicine, ER, Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, or PM&R preferred
-5+ years of experience as a Medical Doctor
-Prior experience/background in joint injections preferred but will provide training
-Passion for and eagerness to work in the field of regenerative medicine.
-Experience with, or willingness to potentially practice treatment service lines other than MSK, such as hair restoration, hormone therapy, men's & women's sexual health, IV therapy.
-MD or DO License to Practice Medicine in CA
Schedule:
-1 day per week for in-clinic procedures
-Thursday (8-6)
Compensation:
-$1,000-$1,500 per day
-Bonus compensation based on performance, % of gross profit
