Our Award-Winning Client, recognized nationally for their outstanding contributions to healthcare, is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner to become a vital member of their established Hospitalist team at a prominent hospital in Geneva, New York. This role is designed for a healthcare professional with a background in acute care, who thrives in a dynamic environment with rotating 12-hour night shifts, allowing for a balanced lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive healthcare services to patients within an acute care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care.
• Work in close collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to optimize patient outcomes.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, accurately diagnose health conditions, and develop and implement appropriate treatment plans.
• Regularly monitor and reassess patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
• Ensure meticulous documentation and maintenance of patient records, adhering to all relevant guidelines.
• Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and hospital operations.

Qualifications

• Board Certification
• Valid New York State (NYS) License
• Preferred: 1-2 years of acute care experience as a nurse or nurse practitioner
