Salary Range: $105 000- $115 000

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced
Commercial Roofing Estimator to join their team. This individual will prepare accurate and competitive bids for commercial roofing projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in estimating and expertise in commercial roofing systems.
Key Responsibilities - Estimating: Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial roofing projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.
- Bid Preparation: Compile and submit complete bid packages, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
- Takeoffs: Perform quantity takeoffs from blueprints and specifications to determine material needs and project scope.
- Client Interaction: Collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to clarify project requirements and provide expert recommendations.
- Vendor Coordination: Source pricing from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure accurate cost analysis.
- Project Documentation: Maintain thorough and organized records of all estimates, bids, and project correspondence.
- Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, pricing changes, and advancements in commercial roofing technology.
Qualifications - Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Commercial Roofing Estimator with Commercial and Institutional Projects
- Project Focus: Must have experience exclusively with commercial roofing projects.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., EDGE, PlanSwift, Bluebeam) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of commercial roofing systems, including TPO, EPDM, PVC, built-up roofing, and metal systems.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and written communication skills for client and team collaboration.
- Detail-Oriented: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in preparing estimates and bids.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).
