Location: Hollywood, FloridaJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $30 - 35 per hourWe are looking for a person to join our team as a Digital Content Designer and illustrator to support Product Marketing. In this role, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and engaging digital content for our online platforms.This includes designing illustrations and animations and editing photography for email and social media to promote our digital products and services. Design work may also include internal newsletters, how-to guides like job aids, one-pagers, and case studies.By creating captivating visual content, you will help drive user engagement and increase brand awareness. Your work will be integral in bringing our ideas and concepts to life, ensuring that our digital content is not only visually stunning but also informative and engaging to customers and internal stakeholders.Responsibilities:

Create visually appealing and engaging digital content for our digital marketing initiatives, including email design.

Design illustrations, graphics, and animations that effectively communicate our brand and generate interest with our target audiences (internal & external)

Collaborate closely with copywriting and marketing colleagues to brainstorm campaign concepts and executions that will achieve desired goals.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand content requirements and develop appropriate designs.

Follow established brand guidelines and accessibility policies.

Research and stay up-to-date with design trends and best practices to ensure our digital content remains fresh and innovative.

Adapt and iterate designs based on feedback and analytics to continually improve performance.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Maintain a high level of quality and attention to detail in all design work.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in design, illustration, or a related field.

3+ years of experience working as a content designer, content creator, or graphic designer or illustrator, with relevant portfolio examples.

Proficient in design software such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

Solid understanding of best practices in email marketing design, with relevant portfolio examples.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Proficiency in collaboration tools and software (e.g., Confluence, Jira, Miro).

Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Preferred Qualifications:

Proficiency in designing animation for online use.

Experience working in tandem with product designers and content strategists.

Familiarity with the lifecycle of marketing campaigns.

Print design skills for items such as flyers and brochures.

Video editing skills.
