Job Description: Diesel Truck Technician/Mechanic

Seeking a skilled Diesel Truck Technician/Mechanic to join our dedicated team in Tulsa, OK. We are committed to providing top-quality service and maintenance to our fleet and ensuring our trucks operate at peak performance.

Job Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel trucks, including engine overhauls, transmissions, and chassis work.
Diagnose mechanical issues and determine necessary repairs to uphold safety and efficiency standards.
Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot engine and component failures.
Inspect vehicles for compliance with legal and safety regulations.
Maintain detailed records of all repairs and maintenance performed, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Collaborate with team members to enhance workflow and improve service delivery.
Stay updated with industry advancements in diesel technology and attend training sessions as required.

Essential Qualifications

Proficient in diesel engine theory and operations.
Strong technical skills related to the inspection, repair, and maintenance of diesel systems.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Desired Experience

Previous experience as a diesel mechanic or technician is preferred but not required.
Experience with various truck models and types is a plus.
Familiarity with computer-based diagnostic tools and equipment.

$28 - 33/hour
