Job Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel trucks, including engine overhauls, transmissions, and chassis work.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and determine necessary repairs to uphold safety and efficiency standards.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot engine and component failures.
• Inspect vehicles for compliance with legal and safety regulations.
• Maintain detailed records of all repairs and maintenance performed, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance workflow and improve service delivery.
• Stay updated with industry advancements in diesel technology and attend training sessions as required.

Essential Qualifications

• Proficient in diesel engine theory and operations.
• Strong technical skills related to the inspection, repair, and maintenance of diesel systems.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Desired Experience

• Previous experience as a diesel mechanic or technician is preferred but not required.
• Experience with various truck models and types is a plus.
• Familiarity with computer-based diagnostic tools and equipment.

$28 - 33/hour
