Job Title: Dental Office Assistant Job Description We are seeking a welcoming face for our dental practice who will be responsible for managing patient interactions, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and handling various administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations. Responsibilities + Greet and assist patients as they arrive at the office. + Schedule and confirm patient appointments. + Verify patient insurance information and handle related inquiries. + Perform data entry tasks and manage patient records. + Handle front desk duties, including answering phones and responding to emails. + Assist with filing, scanning, and other clerical tasks as needed. Essential Skills + Administrative support + Data entry + Customer service + Dentrix software proficiency + Microsoft Office proficiency + Insurance verification + Strong computer skills Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with Gmail and Outlook + Previous experience in an dental administrative or front desk role Work Environment This position is based in a dentist office. The role offers a contract to hire opportunity with benefits and a 401k plan. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
