Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to join our team in Fayetteville TN. As a Delivery Driver you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of packages to our valued customers. This position offers competitive pay ranging from $10$14 per hour plus cash tips and daily mileage reimbursement.

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages to designated locations
• Load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle
• Plan and optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with recipients
• Collect signatures and payments when required
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and mileage
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies
• Report any issues or delays to the dispatch team promptly
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks before and after shifts
• Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate financial records
• Assist with inventory management by reporting low stock or damaged items
• Communicate with dispatch about road conditions traffic issues or other factors affecting delivery times
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle

Qualifications :

• Valid drivers license and clean driving record
• Demonstrated ability to drive safely and follow all traffic laws
• Reliable personal transportation to and from work
• Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Proficiency in using GPS navigation systems and mobile devices
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and mileage calculations
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• Physical stamina to perform deliveries throughout a full shift
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Previous delivery or courier experience (preferred)
• Familiarity with the Fayetteville TN area (preferred)
• Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screenings
• Detailoriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Adaptable to changing weather conditions and delivery schedules
