Job Summary

An Analog Custom Layout Designer is needed for an American multinational technology company that develops, manufactures, licenses, supports, and sells computer software, consumer electronics, personal computers, and related services. Remote work (working Pacific hours). This role involves executing high-performance analog custom IC layouts in advanced FINFET CMOS processes, utilizing EDA tools like Cadence Virtuoso, with a focus on high-speed interfaces and complex analog IPs.

Responsibilities

• Execute IC layout for cutting-edge, high-performance, high-speed, low-power CMOS Interface D2D and SERDES integrated circuits.
• Utilize foundry CMOS process nodes in 2nm and 3nm following industry best practices.
• Work on highly analog IPs like analog PLL, DLL, ADC, RX, TX, OTAs, LDO, Bandgap, and Bias.
• Prepare and present layout design review presentations.
• Conduct layout floor-planning and supervision.
• Perform physical LVS, DRC, and DFM.
  
  

Skills

• Detailed knowledge of EDA tools (Cadence, Mentor, Synopsys).
• Experience with layout of high-performance analog blocks (e.g., VCOs, charge pumps, interpolators, bandgap, OTAs, PLLs, ADCs, LDOs, RX, TX, references).
• Knowledge of analog design and layout guidelines, and high-speed IO.
• Experience with floor planning, block-level routing, and large macro-level assembly.
  
  

Education And Experience

• A degree is necessary for eligibility.
• 5-7 years in the field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience with highly analog IPs (e.g., analog PLL, DLL, ADC, RX, TX, OTAs, LDO, Bandgap, Bias).
• Minimum 5+ years of experience with Cadence Virtuoso design tool and flow.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience with deep FinFET (3nm or anything 5nm or below).
