Responsibilities

• Manage daily CNC milling operations, ensuring optimal production flow and quality control.
• Lead, train, and mentor a team of CNC machinists to enhance their skills and productivity.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency and safety.
• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to optimize machining processes and product designs.
• Maintain inventory of tools and materials, ensuring availability for production needs.
• Conduct regular safety audits and promote a culture of safety within the team.
• Prepare reports on production metrics and recommend improvements as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in CNC milling operations, with a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of CNC programming and machining techniques.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Familiarity with quality control standards and safety regulations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Associate's degree in Manufacturing Technology or related field preferred.
