Position Overview:

As our Cloud Architect youll be the mastermind behind Nebulon Dynamics cloud strategy. Youll design deploy and manage cloud infrastructure that supports our engineering teams clients and applications. Your expertise will ensure our cloud systems are robust efficient and aligned with business goals. This fully remote role offers the flexibility to innovate from anywhere in the United States.

What Youll Be Doing:

1. Cloud Strategy & Design:

   • Develop and implement the companys cloud architecture strategy ensuring alignment with business objectives.
   • Design scalable reliable and secure cloud solutions leveraging platforms like AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
   • Identify the right mix of cloud services to optimize performance and costefficiency.

2. Implementation & Migration:

   • Lead the migration of onpremises infrastructure to the cloud ensuring minimal disruption and maximum security.
   • Deploy and configure cloud environments ensuring best practices are followed for infrastructureascode (IaC).

3. Security & Compliance:

   • Implement cloud security protocols including identity management access controls and data encryption.
   • Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies conducting regular audits and assessments.
   • Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

4. Performance Monitoring & Optimization:

   • Monitor cloud infrastructure performance and proactively address issues before they impact operations.
   • Optimize resource utilization ensuring costeffective use of cloud services.
   • Implement automation tools to streamline cloud operations and reduce manual tasks.

5. Collaboration & Leadership:

   • Work closely with engineering DevOps and IT teams to understand their cloud needs and deliver tailored solutions.
   • Act as a mentor to junior cloud engineers fostering a culture of learning and innovation.
   • Communicate complex cloud concepts to nontechnical stakeholders in a clear and compelling way.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field. Masters degree or relevant certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert etc.) are a plus.

• Experience:

  • 5 years of experience designing implementing and managing cloud solutions.
  • Proven track record with major cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP).
  • Experience with cloud migration projects and hybrid cloud environments.

• Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure (compute storage networking).
  • Proficiency in infrastructureascode tools (Terraform CloudFormation).
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker Kubernetes).
  • Expertise in cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
  • Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch Azure Monitor etc.).
